Apply “Sun with Sense Normal Skin” before sun exposure. A sunburned skin will not tan, so never let it get that far. After bathing, dry off immediately, as water droplets act like a magnifying glass, and reapply “Sun with Sense Normal Skin”. You will maintain a beautiful, long-lasting tan and well-cared-for skin if you apply “Sun with Sense After Sun” in the evening.
This is one of the active ingredients in German camomile, which elicits skin calming and anti-inflammatory effects. The natural stereoisomer (-)-Alpha-Bisabolol appears to be the most powerful of those. Alpha-Bisabolol also holds antibacterial and antimycotic characteristics against several commensal bacteria and fungi, like streptococci, staphylococci, candida albicans en dermatofytes.
Filter for UV-A. This filter brings UV-A radiation to a halt. UV-A radiation of the sun doesn't actually cause sun-burning or reddish skin, however it can cause sun allergy and unwanted skin ageing. That's why it is of great importance to filter UV-A radiation.
This active ingredient is derived from Chitin, a natural protective material. The substance is highly versatile and particularly suitable for the production of sunbathing products which are waterproof, because the Chitin material forms a protective layer, attaching the sun filters to the skin for a longer period. Furthermore it opposes skin irritation as well as it reduces the amount of moisture loss. In short, it’s ideal for a sun product which offers the ultimate protection.
Is present in nature as a mineral pigment (in "rutile" form). Reflects UV-A and UV-B radiation, as a result of its ‘white’ colour. Because this Titanium Dioxide is micronized it has no whitening effect on the complexion. It takes care of the reflection of the sun's UV-radiation, thereby keeping the skin from immediate sunburn.This way the damaging effect of UV-radiation is opposed. The white pigment is also used in masks.
