Apply the mask twice a week onto the face, preferably in combination with Avostem Eye Mask Special, and allow Masque Myrrha Special to settle for 15 to 30 minutes. Remove the mask using moistened sponges with “Aqua Rosa Special”.
Argireline (10%) (only 10% is really active). The action of Argireline takes place in the synapses of the nerves, steering the small muscles in your skin (you know a similar effect of ‘Botox’). When receptors in the synapse are blocked by Argireline, no neurotransmitters are released in the synapse. Therefore, the muscles in the skin do not contract, which inhibits the formation and worsening of wrinkles. Research has shown that Argireline (10%), compared to placebo, causes a wrinkle reduction of 30% after 30 days of use. This research was published in J. Cosmet. Sci. 2002, Oct; 24 (5): 303-10.
"Ylang Ylang
Natural oil, extracted from the blossoms of the tree Cananga Odorata (Ylang Ylang), which grows in Indonesia and the Philippines. The oil has a surprisingly pleasant fragrance. In aromatherapy, the oil is used for its soothing properties. On the skin, it balances the production of sebum and can be used for both dry and oily skin. In the Philippines, the oil from Cananga Odorata is used as a hair care and protection oil, e.g. against the effects of salt water."

With repairing / protective effect on the skin: astringent, antiseptic, antibacterial (especially against the Prop. Acnes Bacterium!) and therefore recommended for oily and/or sensitive skin and acne prone skin. Extract with very specific odour."
Geranium (Pelargonium Graveolens / Odorantissimum) has a wonderful fragrance, is fungicidal / anti-bacterial and also spasmolytic (relaxing).
Porcelain clay, a refined quality of bolus alba, is a purifying powder clay, used for instance in powder masks. It is a highly purifying clay. This clay is highly absorbent and can absorb skin fat (sebum residue) and dirt, from skin microbes for example. The skin is cleansed and purified deep into the pores, leaving it wonderfully soft and smooth.
Niacinamide, Vitamin B3, takes care of the ceramide synthesis in the skin, strengthening the skin barrier in a natural way by creating lamellar lipid layers. Therefore naturally moisturizing the skin. Also improves the skin's defense. In case of Vitamin B3 deficiency, the skin will look very bad after a while (called "Pellagra").
"Oak extract (Quercus)
Natural oak extract with tannins, which improve the skin’s resistance against external stress factors, for example with sensitive skin. It also has radical scavenging properties, helping to keep the skin tight."
Spilanthes Acmella is originally coming from the inlands of Brasil and Peru. The native people discovered the power of leaves and buds of Spilanthes, which seemed to have a very good effect against toothache and dry mouth. For the skin Spilanthes appeared to have even more interesting benefits: through the stimulation of ceramide synthesis this extract is strongly moisturizing. Furthermore, the alkylamides sourced from this plant extract do fortify the extracellular matrix. This is done by the reorganization and strengthening of the collagen fiber network of the connective tissue of the skin, which at the same time provides its anti-ageing and anti-cellulite action. Besides, the fortifying action of Spilanthes can be considered as strong ánd quick.
"D-alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)
Stable form of D-alpha-Tocopherol: the natural variant of vitamin E: 100% natural and 100% active. This antioxidant protects the lipids of the cell membranes. It therefore counteracts the symptoms of skin ageing. It also has a positive effect on the moisture balance and microcirculation."
