Algae extract of Alaria esculenta, a brown alga, that lives in the Northeast Atlantic Ocean, takes care of DNA-protection and Detox. It helps to prevent DNA-damage, caused by UV-radiation and oxidation. The Detox-effect is achieved i.a. by the elimination of the “ageing protein” Progerin. In-vivo tests focused on anti-ageing show the following: + 20% Elasticity, + 25% Firmness of the skin; in addition, 65% of the test panel observes a reduction of the wrinkles.

This aminolipide of Isoleucine, an essential amino acid, is a very efficient anti-ageing active with a “filling” effect. It stimulates the elasticity and volume of the skin (action in the adipocytes). For this reason it provides a firming “anti-wrinkle effect” e.g. on the cheeks. Palmitoyl Isoleucine also gives powerful Detox-effects by stimulating the action of Proteasome, through which the cells show a more active cell detoxification.

This emulsifier is Ecocert/COSMOS certified and a powerful natural strengthener of the skin barrier.
