“a-Hycid Spezialpflege-A” is especially recommended as a final care after the soft peeling with fruit acid gels a-Hycid. This is a special emulsion without fragrance, tailored to the needs of the oily, impure and acne prone skin after a peeling. Due to the papaya extract in the “a-Hycid Spezialpflege-A”, it has a soothing, nourishing and moisturizing effect. “a-Hycid Spezialpflege-A” also contains UV filter which retain harmful UV-A and UV-B rays. Therefore “a-Hycid Spezialpflege-A” should in particular be used throughout the day, to protect the renewing and sensitive skin from sunburn. To be used for 1 month after the last peeling.
This is one of the active ingredients in German camomile, which elicits skin calming and anti-inflammatory effects. The natural stereoisomer (-)-Alpha-Bisabolol appears to be the most powerful of those. Alpha-Bisabolol also holds antibacterial and antimycotic characteristics against several commensal bacteria and fungi, like streptococci, staphylococci, candida albicans en dermatofytes.
